I then abandoned the mission, and the Mission abandoned script also spoke the mission type OK. I took a disable mission, and the Mission accepted script spoke the mission type fine, so I was happy.

One was the disablemegaship mission type, and I wanted to see if I no longer needed my code now that tags have been implemented. I've finally got around to updating my personality for the new Missions scripts, and wanted to test a couple of things out that I had coded into my versions.

If you don't know how to do it, don't go in. Triggering the alarm is fine as long as the data is extracted.

For spy missions, if you go into the vault, you better damn well know how to successfully get the data. No single member in an public mission (no pre-coordination) has a "right" to call people out for failing anything other than SPY. The conditions may be different depending on the mission but there is always an indicator as part of the HUD to show you something relevant to success/failure.Īdditionally, it is everyone's job to achieve the objective. Of the 19 types 12 can be failed by at least one additional method. TBH this is hard to do, especially with void mode reviving. If you and the rest of your team all run out of revives, you'll fail the mission no matter what type it is. I didn't leave the objective though, assuming that the objective here was the mobile defense area. I panicked and left after that, assuming that it was my fault. The first one I tried co-op was also Defense, and the most recent run I did that failed was Mobile Defense.Įdit 3: If it means anything, someone in the squad said "who left the objective?" after the mission ended. As I said in the edit above, my only successful run was a standard Defense mission. I forgot about one successful mission where I solo'd a Defense and didn't fail.Įdit 2: People are asking what mission type. I'd just like to know why I'm failing so miserably and what can be done to prevent it in the future.Įdit: The original post wasn't entirely true. Just a big game over, and a bunch of angry teammates.Īs with most failures in life, I'm about 99% sure that this is my fault. Then, out of nowhere, the missions just fails. On both missions I was playing co-op and everything was going great. As to why they failed, well, your guess is as good as mine. I've played two so far, and both have failed. Thus, I've started doing the void fissure missions, which are not going well. After 112 hours, I am just now discovering what those void relics I've been collecting for the last age do. I'm not new to Warframe, but I clearly am not well informed as to most of the game's inner workings.

I just assumed that because Void Fissures were something new to me I was supposed to be doing something different and was probably just missing something.

I wasn't really paying attention to the health of the objective so it probably just got blown up while I was busy fighting off enemies.

EDIT 4: Alright folks, I think the answer here is simply that the mission failed by normal means.
